Dr Olivia Lajevardi
Introduction
Dr Olivia Nova is an experienced periodontist, senior clinical lecturer, and dental educator based in Australia.
She holds a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontics from The University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University of Otago. She is currently the Head of Department for Periodontics, Prosthodontics, and Endodontics at Sydney Dental Hospital.
Her academic and professional work includes roles as a senior clinical lecturer, postgraduate clinical educator, and examiner at The University of Sydney, as well as examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. She is also a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy (FPFA) and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists (FICD), recognizing her contributions to the profession.
In addition to her clinical and academic appointments, she serves on the Dental Council of New South Wales and is actively involved in professional leadership, including:
- Team Leader for the National Osteology Group – Australasia
- Study Club Director for the International Team for Implantology (Inner West and South Sydney)
